What counts as a managed vCPU?
Worker node vCPUs that Zeus actively manages — in node groups, with autoscaling, across your clusters. Control-plane nodes on managed clouds (EKS, GKE) don't count, and neither do nodes that are off.
Is the free tier actually usable?
Yes. One real cluster, full tooling — the global fabric, services, builds, live observability. Enough to run something in production, not a crippled sandbox.
What happens when I hit the vCPU limit?
You're not cut off. Overage vCPUs bill at $4/vCPU/month on Starter, $3.50 on Growth, and $3 on Platform. You'll see a clear warning before you cross the threshold.
Monthly or annual — what changes?
The prices shown are our annual rates, billed yearly — a 10% saving. Prefer to pay month-to-month? Flip the toggle to see the monthly rate. Most teams just stay on annual.
Can I self-host Zeus?
Yes, on Platform and above. Zeus runs on a server you own — a VM, Proxmox node, or bare metal. Only a license check and auth token reach our servers. Nothing else leaves your network.
What's the 30-day trial?
Full Platform-tier access, no credit card required. When the trial ends you choose a plan or drop to free — we don't charge you automatically.
What happens if I leave Zeus?
Your clusters go with you. Zeus manages your infrastructure but doesn't own it. Export your kubeconfig files and manage manually or with any other tool — your clusters keep running either way.
